Hosting and Server Log Files

When this website is accessed, the hosting provider processes technically necessary server data. This may include, in particular, the IP address, date and time of access, requested file, referrer URL, browser and operating system information, HTTP status code, and data volume transferred.

The purpose of processing is the stable and secure delivery of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and uninterrupted operation of this website.

Hosting provider: Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, United States. Log file retention period: Vercel stores runtime logs depending on the plan for 1 hour (Hobby), 1 day (Pro), 3 days (Enterprise), or 30 days with Observability Plus. Build logs are stored for deployments without a fixed deletion date.

Contact and Applications

If you contact us by email or apply for a position, we process the data you provide. This may include your name and contact details, links to professional or social profiles, your CV, certificates, answers to application questions, and other application documents.

Processing is carried out to handle the request, conduct the application process, and initiate a contractual relationship. The legal bases are in particular Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR and, where applicable, Section 26 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). If data is processed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, this is done on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Application data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the stated purposes and no statutory retention periods or legitimate interests prevent deletion. Longer storage, for example for a talent pool, only takes place with separate consent.

Applications through Google Forms

Our application buttons lead to a Google Form provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When you open or submit the form, Google processes the information you enter as well as technical data such as your IP address, browser and device information, and the date and time of access. Signing in to a Google Account is optional and allows you to save your progress. If you are signed in, Google may associate your access and draft responses with that account.

The form lets you provide a link to your CV rather than upload a file. Submitted answers, including any links you provide, are stored in Google Forms under Feyer's control. The retention rules stated above apply to this data as well.

Google may process data outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers are protected using the applicable safeguards, including adequacy decisions such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable, or standard contractual clauses. Further information is available in Google's Privacy Policy and its information on data-transfer frameworks.

Cookies, Tracking, and External Content

This website currently does not use analytics or marketing cookies, tracking, or external media requiring consent. Therefore, no cookie banner is displayed.

If we integrate analytics tools, embedded videos, maps, social plugins, or comparable services in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and add a consent mechanism where necessary.

Recipients and Transfers to Third Countries

Personal data may be transferred to technical service providers, especially our hosting and email providers and Google Ireland Limited for Google Forms and Google Drive. These service providers are used only where this is necessary for operating the website, communication, or the application process.

Transfers to third countries only take place if the requirements of Art. 44 et seq. GDPR are met, for example through an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards.
